My Favorite Real Estate Gadgets

Here are a few of my favorite gadgets that I personally have bought, used, and recommend to help your real estate business.

The right tools can help you do a number or things faster and more efficiently, allowing you to focus on meeting prospective clients and selling homes. If you are a real estate agent, it’s important to not only have the right equipment, but to use it to be as productive as possible. With that in mind, here are a few of my favorite gadgets that I personally have bought, used, and recommend to help your real estate business:

We only endorse things we’ve personally used or come highly recommended by trusted peers. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. If you grab anything we mention using our referral links, we may get a small commission. However, there’s no extra cost to you.

Mileage Ace – GPS Mileage Tracker

I use to track my mileage by hand, but I wouldn’t do it consistently and I would forget all of the locations I went to (especially when you are showing a ton of houses on the weekends!).

Mileage Ace is SO EASY to use. Once you set it up, it automatically tracks your mileage. When you get home, it connects to your wifi and uploads the information to your account.

Every month, I would just log in and go through the logs to determine which trips were business and personal. You can also create reports for tax purposes too. There is an additional cost for their monthly service, but it was totally worth the time savings!

DJI Pocket 2 Gimbal 4K Video Camera

This is a great camera for doing neighborhood walkthroughs, virtual home tours, or any kind of video. It’s very small and easy to use, so you aren’t drawing a huge amount of attention like you would if you are walking around for 20 minutes holding up your huge phone.

I’ve also mounted it to my dashboard to create neighborhood videos while driving around. If you are serious about using video as a lead generation strategy, this is a must buy!

Adjustable Desk

I love having an adjustable desk! I opted for this one since it is pneumatic, so you don’t need to plug it in. It just uses air to go up and down. The desk is big enough to hold my desktop computer and much more.

Typically when I’m prospecting or on a Zoom call, I’ll stand up (since they say it gives you more energy!). Then when I need a break or am doing more computer intensive activities, I’ll sit down.

Home Office Photo Backdrop

If you are working from home and don’t have a great office background, I highly recommend getting a backdrop. I preferred to do this versus doing a virtual background on Zoom since I always felt like I looked “fuzz” around the edges of a Zoom meeting.

I got so many comments about how nice and neat my office looked and people literally could not tell it was a virtual background!

Open House Flags

These flags are a great way to get attention at an open house! Buyers who have planned to visit will appreciate how easy it is to spot your open house. And you will definitely get neighbors and others from off the street that just see the gigantic flag.

I like this one because it folds up and is easy to assemble.
