In this article, we will explore how AI can help you create effective and attractive real estate descriptions for your properties.
In the modern digital age, technology is advancing by leaps and bounds. One of the most significant advancements has been Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI has already made its way into a variety of industries, and real estate is no exception. With AI, writing descriptions for real estate listings have become even easier, but with a few precautions. In this article, we will explore how AI can help you create effective and attractive real estate descriptions for your properties.
WordHero is an AI-content writer that can help you write blog posts and other content. While I haven't used it much, I was surprised to see they have a Real Estate Listing Description function that will write your real estate listings! Of course, I had to give this a try. Here are a few examples of what I put in and what it generated.
Overall, I was really impressed with the listing descriptions this produced! The copywriting was definitely better than anything I could write and you can re-generate more options if you don't like any of the ones it created. I really liked that I could just put in some quick sentences about the property and it was able to make a really great description.
The downside though, is that each one still needs to be fact-checked to make sure you are complying with fair housing and discrimination laws. In one of my iterations, it said "perfect for families", which would be an issue. In another result, it said that the house had stainless steel appliances (probably since I said the kitchen was renovated), but that might not be true in all cases.
In those situations, I would just re-write that part of the description or generate a few more options to choose from. Overall, most of the descriptions would be fine to publish. I can see agents using this as a quick first draft of a real estate listing description, especially if you are having writer's block. I would not hand this off to an assistant that may not be familiar with the property or fair-housing rules and automatically publish it without checking it.
In conclusion, AI is a very powerful tool that can help real estate agents become more efficient with their listings. It provides tools and features that allow agents to write descriptions faster and more creatively than ever before. However, it’s important to remember that AI should be used as a tool, not a replacement for the human touch when it comes to writing real estate descriptions. AI can make writing easier but it won’t replace the unique perspective that an agent will bring to selling a property.
P.S. WordHero helped me write the first and last paragraph of this post! Did you notice?
